- This is the fifth consecutive year internet companies have beat the traditional industries to monopolise the first place on the annual 2014 FORTUNE China’s Most Admired Companies list, conducted by FORTUNE China and Hay Group. In first place is Alibaba Group, which has become the world’s second biggest internet company (behind only Google) after its IPO in the NYSE earlier this month.
